Go Out And Have Some Fun

Looks like we're at da end of anoddah week and it's great to see da sun out with a shmall kine crisp in da air. Da surf dis week has been great and I caught my fair share of solid waves da past few days (even though there was dis kook da kept dropping in on everybody) but still, life is good.
I got a little get together tonight with some old work friends dat I haven't seen in a few years, then some heavy duty yard work tomorrow and a birthday lunch for one of my "older" friends - occasional Lurkah - on Sunday. For me, das a pretty busy weekend - without Da Wife - in my soon to be makule status. 
So in continuing to share da love cause it's a requirement to feel good on a Feel Good Friday, I got a pair of tickets to Sunday's Wahine Volleyball game to give away, PLUS..... a gift certificate to Kincaids AND Ryans. The gift certificates are actually a promotional game wea it's guaranteed $15 to Kincaids and $10 to Ryans BUT..... you could actually win $500 from da respective establishments. All you gotta do is present da card and they'll swipe it and tell you if you won da big prize or not but in any case you're guaranteed da $15 or $10 gift card.
No catch. No waiting 4-6 weeks to claim your prize. It's just something to get you to visit their establishment and practically it's a BOGO (buy one get one) but da cards have to be redeemed/used by Dec 9th.
But wait..... there's more! 
Ok, not really but I just wanted to say dat. 
I have a couple more of da cards for whoevah wants 'em. Da cards you can pick up anytime but da tickets by 5pm today at The Honolulu Advertiser building (605 Kapiolani St) or I can meet you somewhere in da Aiea/Pearl City area tomorrow if you no can come by today.
So go out and have some "free" fun cause I'd hate to see da game tickets and/or gift cards go to waste.

i have a birthday dinner tonight for a old friend so i'm looking forward to that. and my good friend is visiting from the mainland, so we'll likely hit the swap meet or something this weekend. i will be busy reconnecting with friends this weekend, too! yay!
i actually have a dinner planned at ryan's in november so i could use the ryan's gift card if you have one available! if not, it's cool.

Any time away from work is a good time ! You're in such a giving mood, you must be getting ready for Christmas (bah humbug).
Here's a FGF joke:
It was entertainment night at the Senior Center .
Claude the hypnotist exclaimed: 'I'm here to put you into a trance; I intend to hypnotize each and every member of the audience.'
The excitement was almost electric as Claude withdrew a beautiful antique pocket watch from his coat 'I want you each to keep your eye on this antique watch. It's a very special watch. It's been in my family for six generations'
He began to swing the watch gently back and forth while quietly chanting, 'Watch the watch, watch the watch, and watch the watch...
The crowd became mesmerized as the watch swayed back and forth, light gleaming off its polished surface. Hundreds of pairs of eyes followed the swaying watch, until, suddenly, it slipped from the hypnotist's fingers and fell to the floor, shattering into a hundred pieces.
' CRAP ' said the Hypnotist...
....It took three days to clean up the Senior Center

Sounds like a nice weekend coming up for you. Good to have things to look forward to on the weekends. It gives some "light at the end of the tunnel" during the work week.
Getting together with some friends tonight and UH football tomorrow. Probably yard work on Sunday...

Sounds like everybody got happy once the sun came out. Got shmall kine gig tonight. Anyone need something to do? Come down to Chopsticks, the old Maple Garden on Isenberg, now Yen King... turns shmall club on Friday nights from 9:30 to midnight. Good fun, nice and cozy.
Tomorrow is Clean Out Da Refrigerator Day. Not sure if before or after the Trade Show at HIC... oops Blaisdell. Makule Crisis... ha!
Sun is probably Take The Keiki Boy To The Beach Day.

Thanks for the jokes they always brighten up my day. All these folks doing the SUP thing. It looks so peaceful when you watch someone who is good at it. I've thought about it and maybe someday I'll get my fat okole out there!
